Former Māori Party leader Dame Tariana Turia is renewing her call for Oranga Tamariki's chief executive Grainne Moss and the Minister for Children Tracey Martin to resign.
It comes as pressure mounts on the agency after a report by the Children's Commissioner Judge Andrew Becroft highlighted failures in the way it deals with Māori whānau.
As RNZ Māori news correspondent Leigh-Marama McLachlan discovered, the report found families were subjected to poor social work practice, racism and were not treated with dignity.
