The New South Wales premier has signalled she may lockdown towns on the Victorian border if people don't follow the strict border closure rules that came in last night. And at midnight tonight - the whole of metropolitan Victoria - about 5 million people - will go into a six week lockdown - but they can leave home to exercise, visit essential shops, and go to work. There's no parties - with police threatening big fines - and certainly no invitations across the border, with South Australia following suit and shutting its doors to Victorians as well.
