There will be no early release from lockdown for a third of the country living under Covid-19 alert level 3 restrictions.
The message from the Prime Minister today was stay the course. That means the current restrictions, with Auckland at alert level 3 and the rest of the country at level 2, will remain in place until at least Wednesday next week.
