Covid-19: Govt spurs travel agents to recoup customers' money

The government has introduced a $47 million incentive scheme to encourage travel agents to try and recoup clients' money lost due to disruptions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Travel agents will get 7.5 percent of the value of cash refunds for their customers and 5 percent of the value of credits secured on customers' behalves.

But as Nick Truebridge reports there is no help yet for those who booked their trips through now defunct travel agents.
