The mother of a baby who died after being attacked by the family dog in Hamilton says she wishes she could go back in time.
The newborn baby died in Waikato Hospital yesterday after the attack on Sunday night.
His mother has posted a photo on Facebook wishing she could return to a time when she was pregnant.
Neighbours who rushed to help the mother and her baby say the woman had gone to the toilet, when the family dog attacked the infant.
