At least 15 people - including school students - have been injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Northland, during the morning commute.

Passersby stopped to help the injured - many of them students from Otamatea High in Maungaturoto.
Five have been taken to Whangārei Hospital with moderate injuries. Chen Liu reports.
