Covid-19 Response Minister Chris Hipkins says existing MIQ facilities may be needed until mid-2022.
"At this point it's still a bit of crystal ball gazing. We're doing a variety of plans, for the moment we're signed up to the towards the middle of next year, but we are doing a bit of forward planning to say what kind of contingency do we think we might need beyond that, even if we don't need, MIQ to the capacity that we've got it now.," he said.
