Three breach Melbourne lockdown, fly to Auckland via Sydney

Three people breached Melbourne's lockdown to travel to Sydney and then on to Auckland.

The Covid-19 Response Minister Chris Hipkins says the group will have to spend two weeks in managed isolation - which they'll have to pay for.

It comes as the first flights bringing New Zealanders who've been stranded in Melbourne because of the lockdown are due to touch down.
