The Trade Minister says security and trade are separate issues when it comes to China.
This week, New Zealand joined its Western allies in condemning China for state-sponsored cyber attacks.
At a trade policy roadshow in Auckland, Damien O'Connor said he isn't expecting any retaliation and is working on trade agreements so businesses can have more options.
