Auckland hospitality businesses are holding out for the orange light - hoping it'll tide them over until the border opens.
It's been two weeks since Tāmaki Makaurau moved to red and it's another two until the traffic lights turn orange - and capacity limits lift for places using vaccine passes.
In the meantime it's been a juggling act of masks, spacing restrictions and bracing for how to navigate a summer without local or international tourists.
