At least 200 NZ dogs killed by toxic algae in past decade

Around two-hundred dogs have died from toxic algae in the past decade, here in Aotearoa.

Found in waterways, the algae is one of the most toxic natural compounds in the world.

But while the risk to our four-legged friends is well-documented, the human impact isn't as widely known.
