Consumer Affairs Minister David Clark has announced a new rule in the grocery sector that will see the supermarket duopoly forced to sell groceries to their competitors at set prices and terms if they fail to adequately wholesale market voluntarily.

He told Lisa Owen he wants to see it possible to buy essentials from a local dairy or small grocery store at prices similar to supermarkets.
