Some students with covid are still turning up to sit their NCEA exams.
But the Auckland Secondary Principals Association is predicting illnesses will mean a lot more so called derived grades, based on previous exams results because sick students are a no show.
There's no mandatory isolation for Covid-19 anymore, just a recommendation to stay out of circulation for five days.
