Former US Open tennis champion Emma Raducanu will have her fingers crossed for a sunny start to the new year in Auckland.
The 21 year old British star has been given a wildcard to the ASB Classic, a tournament that left her in tears in January.
Raducanu departed New Zealand after firing a parting shot at Auckland's indoor courts, something that now seems to be water under the bridge.
