Schools are fighting back to save the free school lunch programme, Ka Ora Ka Ako.
Today, Arakura School in Wainuiomata invited representatives of the teacher unions, Principals Federation and Health Coalition Aotearoa to share their kai.
The organisations are worried the government wants to cut the 325 million dollar programme by as much as 50% and they are already campaigning to stop that happening.
