A warning; Counterfeit cops are scamming vulnerable people out of ten of thousand of dollars, by convincing them they're providing evidence for a sting. The actual police are warning; this is a sophisticated fraud, with victims being targetted over landlines. One person has already been convicted for fleecing people of hundreds of thousands of dollars, but the scam is still operating.
