Govt contracts illegal and hurting patients - GPs

GPs have complained to the Commerce Commission over government contracts they say are illegal and unfair and hurting patients. The General Practice Owners Association filed a formal complaint against Te Whatu Ora for alleged breaches of the Fair trading Act .The Association claims GPs have no negotiating power and Te Whatu Ora adopts a take it or leave it attitude.
