Questions remain on govt digital nomad visas

MPs have come away with more questions than answers on the digital nomad visa, including whether housing demand will skyrocket, or migrants will take local jobs while they're here. A parliament scrutiny committee today turned its attention to the newly-introduced visa, which will allow "digital nomads" to work remotely from New Zealand, provided they're not receiving income from local sources. But as Gill Bonnett reports, questions remain about issues like migrant exploitation and the number of nomads who will potentially make their way down under.
