Anthony Albanese announces election date as May 3rd

After months of speculation - Prime Minister Anthony Albanese officially announced Australians are heading to the polls on May 3rd. Mr Albanese and opposition leader Peter Dutton have started their five-week campaigns to win over Australians. Front of mind for many voters are issues around energy, health and the cost of living. Australia correspondent Nick Grimm spoke to Lisa Owen.
