Who's Up at 5am? Teacher Genevieve Kreft

Primary school principals yesterday rejected the Government's latest pay offer, saying it would have left those leading the country's smallest schools earning less than senior teachers at larger schools. Genevieve Kreft is an Auckland primary school teacher who contacted us because she's listening to First Up on her way to work every morning. Every morning she arrives to work at 6am. But if you thought Genevieve's day ended along with the children she teaches, you're wrong. She told our producer Ellie Jay and videographer Claire Eastham-Farrelly, she doesn't leave school until six o'clock.
