Dunedin's steepest street looks to regain world title

Generally it's only on the rugby field where the Welsh and Kiwis have a rivalry - but now it's a battle over another kind of surface, that's causing consternation in the south. Baldwin Street in Dunedin held the record for the world's steepest street for 32 years, They lost that title last month to Ffordd Pin Llech in the Welsh town of Harlech but the people of Dunedin are crying foul play over the Welsh claim. Our Otago-Southland reporter Timothy Brown has spoken to Lennon Bedford, a technical specialist with Global Survey, about how he measured the Dunedin street yesterday.
