Central Napier businesses face challenging clean up
Some businesses in central Napier are still struggling to pick themselves up after last week's devastating floods. One business, Lift, on Emerson St, believes it was one of the worst affected. Lift is a social enterprise helping youth find employment. Its business hub, which sells products made by youth, flooded from the front and back and has left a terrible smell. But the aftermath is just as challenging. Silt still lies on the street, floating in when it's windy or when cars drive by, hampering the clean up. Here's Lift's business hub co-ordinator Moana Hamilton-Neville talking about her experience with our Hawke's Bay reporter Tom Kitchin.
