Govt liable for war crimes over exports to Saudi Arabia?

The Green Party says the government could be liable for war crimes over the exports of military equipment to Saudi Arabian forces. Documents received by RNZ show a New Zealand exporter obtained permits to send military training equipment, computers, radios and binoculars to Saudi forces in 2016 and 2018. The Greens' Foreign Affairs spokesperson Golriz Ghahraman told our reporter Mackenzie Smith the permits never should have been granted.
