Whanganui's Sarjeant Gallery's 103 yo time capsule revealed

Builders doing work on Whanganui's Sarjeant Gallery have made a truly remarkable discovery. While drilling into the building they hit upon a time capsule deliberately placed there over 100 years ago by one of the people working on the structure. A letter, left by a construction worker, alleges the true architect was not the man credited with the building's design, but a young man who had lost his life in the First World War. The Sarjeant Gallery's curator of collections, Jennifer Taylor Moore, told the extraordinary story to our producer Matthew Theunissen.
