Willis: National would lower taxes to help with cost of living

Fuel taxes will be slashed by 25 cents a litre for the next three months - and public transport fares halved - as the government acts to counter soaring petrol prices. Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern made the announcement yesterday, saying the invasion of Ukraine had unleashed a "global energy crisis", with the cost of all three petroleum fuel types rising to record highs. Nathan Rarere discussed the news with National's deputy leader, Nicola Willis to see how it's being received on the Opposition benches.
