Hallertau Brewery uses local tomatoes for Tomato Michelada

In what could be a world first, tomato beer is on the cards if you're in Auckland this evening, Anthony Tringham is the Chief Tomato Officer for curious croppers who grow interesting and unusual tomatoes and sell them at Clevedon farmers market They have teamed up with their mates at Hallertau brewery to make a 'Tomato Michelada' which will make it's debut at an event this evening, Anthony spoke to our producer Ellie Jay who asked how the beer got made.
