DOC on alert after dead possum found on Great Barrier Island

The Department of Conservation is on high alert after a dead possum was found on largely predator-free Great Barrier Island. The possum was found by a local resident on the road at Whangaparapara sparking a wide-reaching investigation to establish how it got there and whether more of the pests could be on the island.
