Nicola Willis breaks down yesterday's pre-budget speech

With the cost of living crisis being acutely felt by people across Aotearoa, National's deputy leader and finance spokesperson Nicola Willis delivered her pre-budget speech yesterday. In the address, Ms Willis took aim at government spending and Kiwibuild, while promising to look after what she calls and indeed the National Party's catch phrase of the month, the "squeezed middle". Nathan Rarere asked what she meant by that.
