TV show Shortland St asked to help recruit nurses

The government will be working with the television show Shortland Street to set up an international recruitment service as part of efforts to shore up health workforce shortages. Minister of Health Andrew Little announced the initiative yesterday as part of a range of measures which also include payments of up to $10,000 to help nurses gain registration in New Zealand.
