NZ - NY Air NZ route, pilot says weather a big factor

Well listening to that is Air New Zealand pilot and Andrew Ridling. Andrew is also President of the Air Line Pilots Association and joins us now live from the global aviation hub of Montreal. Air New Zealand says it spent a year modelling for this flight.. but it hasn't managed to get too much right thus far and will now only carry 180 passengers on the return journey instead of the 260 or so able to fly to the States.
