Covid 'variant soup' set to drive up infections - expert

Christmas might be just around the corner but a swarm of Covid subvariants is set to drive up a new wave of infections just in time for the holiday season. Infectious disease experts are warning people about the heightened risk of being reinfected with the virus. Cellular Immunologist Dr Anna Brooks is urging people to mask up and push their GPs for PCR tests and boosters as open borders and people stopping mask use has seen a soup of Covid variants show up in wastewater tests around the country. Dr Brooks spoke with Nathan Rarere.
