Thieves steal $35K of equipment from Piha Surf Lifesaving

Opportunists have stolen nearly 35 thousand dollars worth of equipment from Piha Surf Lifesaving facilities. Seventeen hand-held radios and a laptop were taken from the club's temporary portacom clubrooms overnight. But to Surf Life Saving that loss is just the tip of the iceberg. Northern Region CEO Matt Williams told Nathan Rarere how the burglary will impact their services.
