Bay of Islands business losing patience with roading

Businesses in the Bay of Islands are losing their patience, as road closures in Northland made for a stop start summer season. High hopes for a post pandemic bounce back were dashed, with the Brynderwyns closed for much of this year adding hours onto trips North and deterring many visitors. The State Highway 1 section is currently open, but closes again next monday for two weeks for further repairs. Our reporter Leonard Powell went to the Bay of Islands.
