'The need is more than ever' - food bank boss Dave Letele

The government has announced another six million dollars in funding for food banks around Aotearoa. Acting Prime Minister Carmel Sepuloni revealed the funding boost yesterday, saying there's demand for food support especially in communities hit by extreme weather events. That means providers in Auckland, Tai Rawhiti and Hawke's Bay will have first dibs on the new money. Founder of the BBM Food Bank, the Brown Buttabean himself Dave Letele, told Nathan Rarere how it's going in his community.
