Businessman and director of the charity Kiwi K.A.R.E Tenby Powell has returned to Ukraine and right back into the thick of it, delivering aid and care to people in the worst hit parts of the country. Seven decommissioned St John ambulances should be arriving in country soon, and money raised by a group of Waiheke businessmen has enabled them to buy a 12 tonne truck to disperse the aid. Kiwi K.A.R.E has now teamed up with a Ukrainian NGO.
