The Black Ferns 'Locky Lalas'

The Black Ferns locks call themselves the "locky lalas" and the trio are a driving force in the scrum and a driving force behind the team's success. While only two of Maia Roos, Chelsea Bremner and Joanah Ngan(Naan)-Woo can start any given test, Roos believes all three are equally important to the team and says the competition within their locking group is driving them all to lift their performances. She spoke to RNZ rugby reporter Joe Porter ahead of Sunday morning's Pacific Four test against Canada in Ottawa, their second test of the year following last weekend's 50-nil thumping of Australia.
