National deputy leader on pothole funding, KiwiSaver for bonds

Election campaign season is upon us, and more policies are being announced each day... There've been two big ones from National this week - they want to make it so that young renters can take money from their Kiwisaver to pay for tenancy bonds. And they've announced plans for a pothole repair fund. Labour says it had to boost road maintenance funding by 65 percent when it came into power after National. But National deputy leader Nicola Willis told Nathan Rarere it's clear that roads now need more funding.
