National deputy leader Nicola Willis on Hamilton East candidate

To politics now, and National's Hamilton East candidate has not been clear about when he changed his long held views on fluoridation. Ryan Hamilton openly opposed fluoridation for more than two decades - at odds with National's position. RNZ revealed on Monday a 2013 social media post - where he said "Get rid of flouride, the poverty isssue is redundant, most lower socio economics fill their tap water with raro so pull the other one". Deputy leader Nicola Willis says the candidate's views have changed.
