Negotiations continue for return of wharenui carvings in London

A delegation is currently in London in an attempt to negotiate the early return to Aotearoa of carvings from Hinemihi Te Ao Tawhito - a meeting house which survived the eruption of Tarawera in 1886. Rangitihi Pene is part of the delegation. He told Nathan Rarere about the history of the whare and her carvings.
