Two journalists and a freelance cameraman from Newsroom were detained by the Fijian police last night on suspicion of trespass on a Chinese property-development company. Karyn Hay speaks to Melanie Reid who was one of the three, who is still in Fiji.

Human rights advocacy groups believe there are more than a million Muslims, mostly Uighurs, being systematically detained in interment camps in China's far-western Xinjiang province.
