In a day of unexpected twists and turns, Samoa's FAST Party has held a swearing-in ceremony in a marquee in the grounds of Parliament after being locked out of the Parliament building. Karyn Hay crosses to Apia to speak with correspondent Autagavaia Tipi Autagavaia.

10:30 London Calling: Audrey Tinline

Lately's weekly cross to the BBC World Service, and tonight Audrey Tinline will update Karyn about Covid-19 around the world and the World Health Organisation's annual assembly this week. Also tonight Audrey will look at the  ceasefire between Israel and Hamas in Gaza. Meanwhile a judgement is expected this week in court case in the Netherlands where an environmentalist is challenging Shell oil company.

Tonight - we're looking at te reo and why it can be difficult to say some words. Ngahiwi Apanui, the chief executive of Te Taura Whiri O Te Reo Maori - the Maori Language commission, joins Karyn Hay to look at some of the trickier words that can be hard to pronounce.
