It's 250 years since Captain Cook's arrival in Aotearoa, and Pataka Art + Museum in Porirua is marking it with an exhibition that explores the voyagers who were first to come here. The exhibition begins with the epic journey of Polynesian navigator Kupe who sailed by waka from Hawaiki to Aotearoa. Director of Pataka Art + Museum, Reuben Friend, tells Karyn about the connection between Kupe and Porirua, and the artists with work in the exhibition Here: Kupe to Cook.
