Samoan medics from Auckland head to Samoa

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade has confirmed New Zealand as the likely source of Samoa's measles epidemic, compounding its responsibility for the disease's arrival.

Foreign Affairs Minister Winston Peters this afternoon announced further medical support to assist with Samoa's measles epidemic.

There have been no new deaths due to the disease but there are 85 new cases. The death toll remains at 72. Karyn speaks with Debbie Sorensen from the Pacific Medical Association about the medical team about to leave Auckland for Samoa.
