There's a bad smell in the air in Marlborough, and the local council is determined to sniff it out.
Marlborough District Council solid waste manager Alec McNeil has come up with a plot called 'Prevailing Odour Not Good' - or PONG, which is currently before the council for consideration. The scheme would allow people to be able to report strong odours so they can be mapped and traced.
