David Seymour's efforts pay off for End of Life Choice Act

The past 24 hours have been monumental for those who fought for the right to end their own life. The 7th November is now marked as the first day New Zealanders over the age of 18 who are suffering with a terminal illness may be eligible for the new Assisted Dying Service. The End of Life Choice Act came into effect one year after nearly two-thirds of New Zealanders voted in favour of it in a referendum. Act leader David Seymour originally put forward the legislation and has been championing for it the past few years.
