Statistics NZ has today provided the first real measure of COVID-19's impact on Tourism. A third of New Zealand tourism jobs have disappeared in the first year of COVID-19, 25% of owner operators have been wiped out and the tourism sector has shrunk to the size it was 15 years ago.
