Even the humble potato chip isn't immune to rising prices as a result of the invasion of Ukraine. Ukraine is the largest exporter of sunflower oil in the world, responsible for up to 46 percent of sunflower-seed and safflower oil production.
Farmers have only been able to plant 60 percent of usual crops and Ukraine's main sunflower oil producer is Kernel which is struggling to get product to port - meaning a spike in global prices.
Some New Zealand farmers are attempting to treble production to try and fill some of the gap.
