In this weekend's edition of Māpuna with Julian Wilcox, he speaks to Māori artist Emily Karaka of Waikato and Ngāpuhi descent (Ngai Tai, Ngāti Hine, Ngātiwai, Te Kawerau a Maki, Ngāti Te Ahiwaru, Tamaoho, Waiohua).
Julian visits Emily at her home in Tāmaki and they discuss activism through her artwork, her life and dedication to her iwi and te ao Māori.
