Whānau and colleagues have remembered the slain UK police officer, Matiu Ratana, at a funeral in London.
The New Zealander was shot in the chest at a police station in September, when a handcuffed suspect managed to produce a revolver and fire it.
The service held by the London police included tributes from his whānau, who could not travel to attend because of the Covid pandemic.
His cousin is the Deputy Speaker and Te Tai Hauāuru MP, Adrian Rurawhe.
He spoke to Mani Dunlop.
