Officials in Napier have been meeting this morning to discuss the next steps as the cleanup in the flood-ravaged city kicks up another gear.

At least 35 homes have been declared unsafe since the torrential downpour on Monday, which caused widespread flooding and landslips..
Power has now been restored to all properties.
